Azulene is a blue organic compound found in chamomile essential oil. This formula started as an abstract blue sky concept. I wanted something that reminded me of summers as a child. I remember eating grapefruit while I laid on my lawn and stared at the summer blue sky. Some days it would be apples and some days it would be nectarines. I remember having chamomile tea in the evenings. Azulene embodies these feelings and memories.
