University of Arizona campus has a little secret. There is a gorgeous rose garden in front of the Forbes' building on campus. It's so unassuming most students walk right by it and never know.
Rose in perfume can smell antiquated to me, so I wanted to create my interpretation of a rose-floral type that was more modern. I was inspired by all of the different varieties that truly smell so unique.
My interpretation is the rose garden itself: floral, fruity, damp soil, green, stemmy, and of course rose. Instead of soft, delicate, and antiquated potpourri--Forbes' Roses is a sharp and intense modern floral type with a woody and spicy backbone on the dry down.
